At NIVO, inspired by Digicom, we believe strong communities are built by people who show up for one another. Our work is about connecting communities through fast, reliable fibre internet, but to us, being connected is about much more than technology.
That’s why we’re proud to recognize Annie-Claude Tremblay as NIVO’s very first Community Champion in Quebec, and our September 2026 Community Champion.
Supporting the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est Community
Since 2016, Annie-Claude has served as the Director of La Moisson d’Alma, a food bank that supports individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and socio-economic hardship throughout the MRC Lac-Saint-Jean-Est.
La Moisson d’Alma’s mission is to recover surplus food and redistribute it to people who need it. By giving quality food a second life, the organization helps reduce food waste while providing essential support to people facing difficult circumstances.
Its work goes beyond food distribution. La Moisson d’Alma strives to improve the quality of life of socio-economically disadvantaged individuals, support people experiencing poverty and help promote their social reintegration.
This important work is made possible through the generosity of local businesses, organizations, volunteers and community members who give their time and resources.
Because Being Connected Means Supporting One Another
At NIVO, inspired by Digicom, we understand how important it is to stay connected. Fibre internet helps people communicate with loved ones, access resources and opportunities, work, learn and stay engaged with their communities.
But technology is only part of the equation. People like Annie-Claude are what truly help communities thrive.
Through her work with La Moisson d’Alma, Annie-Claude continues to dedicate her time to supporting people in her region and helping provide them with the resources they need.
Thank you, Annie-Claude, for everything you do for the Lac-Saint-Jean-Est community. We’re proud to celebrate you as NIVO’s very first Community Champion in Quebec!
